Problem / Insight:

Spotify hosts more than 100 million songs and scores on its platform. Not all of these compositions have accompanied choreography that has ever been created or can be found online.

Idea:

dAInce will use AI to generate choreography for any song on Spotify by analyzing the music’s rhythm, tempo, mood, and structure, then mapping those elements to movement patterns learned from ethically trained models—systems built on licensed, permission-based, or fairly compensated dance data. After identifying which types of motions fit certain beats or emotional tones, the AI sequences these movements into full routines that stay synchronized with the song. Dancing avatars will appear on Spotify's interface, so the user can follow along as their chosen song is playing.
